Inviting a Board Member 📨

To invite a new board member to join Govrn:

1. Go to the "Members" or section of your account.
2. Click on "Invite a new member " button.
3. Enter the new member's email address and assign them a role.
4. Click on "Send Invitation" or a similar button.

The invited board member will receive an email with a registration link to join Govrn.

<aside> ⚠️ Tip: You won't be able to add the new member to events or discussions until they complete their registration.

Roles and Permissions 🔑

There are three main roles within Govrn:

1. Admin
   • Permissions: Create, Read, Annotate, Update, Delete, Sign, Vote.
2. Member
   • Permissions: Read, Annotate, Sign, Vote.
3. Observer
   • Permissions: Read only and communicate.

Updating Roles 🎭

To view or update a board member's role:

1. Go to the "Members" on your instance
2. Click on the member whose role you want to update.
3. In the member's profile or settings, select a new role from the available options.
